This project site exists as a threshold between the ordered, urban condition, and the pastoral Texas countryside - a dichotomy between order and organic. It is the design intention to join these two sensibilities... that the amenity spaces offer a respite from the structured, hustle-culture driven atmosphere of the city. By creating relaxed spaces with a modern, hip sensibility that can be appreciated by the young, urban professional, this ‘Modern Pastoral’ interior design concept will be achieved through the use of tonal contrasts, light wood tones, earthy neutrals, curvilinear elements, subtle rustic accents rich in regional essence, and contemporary furnishings.
